Trying to equate something like CryptoKitties, or any blockchain experience, to something people are more familiar with, like Facebook, it’s not a good parallel in my mind. I’d certainly agree that it’s a relevant consideration, but I’d also underline that it’s far from the whole picture. To me, the aspect that’s most interesting - a lot of people are apt to treat DAUs as the single measure of whether something is or isn’t successful.
